Have you ever wanted to run a Marathon, but were not quite ready for the distance? The “5K to Marathon” is a unique 7-week program that will prepare each participant to complete the Maine Marathon Relay as their final goal. This class will not only prepare you to run 5-6 miles, but it will add the teamwork component to your training, which is guaranteed to be fun! Participants must be able to run an entire 5k to participate. The relay consists of a 4-person team and each leg is as follows:
· Leg 1: 6 miles
· Leg 2: 8.8 miles
· Leg 3: 6.2 miles
· Leg 4: 5.2 miles
