Winter Rowing “…Not so gently downstream”

The Sustainable Athlete is now offering indoor rowing classes.  Rowing addresses two common limiters for endurance athletes: flexibility and core.  This class will cover the spectrum, from learning proper rowing technique on the Concept 2 rowing machine to pushing fitness to new levels.  Rowing incorporates the entire body into every stroke, offering tremendous gains in strength and aerobic capacity and unparalleled caloric burn for the time invested.  Push individual fitness while feeling the energy of the ultimate team sport! Contact with any questions regarding private or semi-private rowing instruction.

Winter Rowing will return, classes capped at 5 individuals.

2017 Strength and Core mid-day class

**The winter session of Strength for Endurance Athletes will pick up again in mid-January. The class is led by Sustainable Athlete Coach Sarah Russell who recently returned from 2 years in Spain where she trained all levels of runners and triathletes. Sarah is a world-class competitive triathlete who tries her best to convince people that strength work is a critical component to an endurance athlete’s training and success!
